Got your epic Heroes, all powerful Gods and troublesome NPCs printed and at the ready?

A band of divine adventurers eager to head off on their own odyssey across the ancient world for glory and renown.

What if one of your party wants to play as a Hero of the age, touched by divine might? Perhaps another wants to be a demi-god, travelling down from Olympus itself to spend time among mortals.

How do you manage these incredibly powerful adventurers and the foes they will face? How will you ensure your adventure captures the flavour of Ancient Greece, matching the miniatures you put on the tabletop?

Whatever it is you need, we have gathered some brilliant resources to help you run an adventure worthy of a new Iliad.

Adventurers

We found a brilliant PDF from Arcana Games, Arkadia - A mythic Greek settings for D&D 5e

Arkadia

An original setting, inspired by the history and legends of ancient Greece. Arkadia is a game of heroic adventure in a world of monsters and myth.

This guide contains architypes for each class with unique Greek variations. Gorgeous art work and some brilliant writing will help get your players stuck into this Ancient setting.

Available through their website, compatible with Roll20 and downloadable through DriveThroughRPG.

Stories

Following up from Arcana Games' adventurers guide they also have the "Fate of the Oracle" adventure for this Greek setting.

Fate of the Oracle Adventure

An original setting, inspired by the history and legends of ancient Greece. Arkadia is a game of heroic adventure in a world of monsters and myth.

Tied into their player's guide comes an adventure set in Ancient Greece. Created at the same standard as their player's guide, with encounters, story arcs and maps.

Available through their website, compatible with Roll20 and downloadable through DriveThroughRPG.

Monsters and NPCs

To go along with player characters and an adventure for them to conquer, you will need some monsters and NPCs to populate the world. Check out Mikemyler.com and his extensive blog covering all manner of deadly creatures and monstrous adversaries.

Adventures in Ancient Greece

Dozens of monsters and NPCs from the length and breath of the Ancient Greek world. A great free resource, packed full of terrifying foes.

As well as these lesser well known resources we of course need to mention the official D&D sourcebook "Mythical Odessey of Theros". A crossover coursebook between Ancient Greece and Magic the Gathering it brings together well known facets of the Greek stories with brilliant fantasy storytelling and amazing creatures.

Have you ran a great Greek adventure? Do you have any handy resources you use when planning a mythic adventure? Then let us know so we can spread the knowledge for future resource guides.

Need some Greek Gods and Heroes to run an adventure now that you are full of epic ideas?
