Edit June 4th: The Kickstarter is LIVE!! Click here!!
We are happy to continue to share with you our concepts for the Toughest Girls of the Galaxy upcoming Kickstarter.
Please allow us to introduce Heavy Gunner Aaqila Noyakin, who shall be part of the regular Kurganova Shock Troops.
She will soon be joined by the rest of her battalion...
Is the "style" of Aaqila Noyakin going to be the "style" of the regular troops?
→ Well, the Rambettes (all images release so far are here) are in fact a penitential regiment included in a larger army commanded by the Kurganova sisters. They are an elite commando troop, akin to the Foreign Legion (always sent on the missions no one else will do).
On the contrary, Aaqila (depicted above) is part of the regular troops of the Kurganova army, so even if she is more like a special character, her equipment (armour and clothing) is representative of what these troops will wear.
In fact, the Rambettes come from a prison planet. In our future game (if everything stays as it is right now, fluff-wise), a large number of Rambettes have escaped the planet and so, you'll be able to play a Rambette-only force who'll behave like Mel Gibson on drugs (fast ones, that is), and who'll be able to hijack the enemy vehicles and equipemnt when they defat an opposing unit...
Any news from the bank?
→ Oh yes... A lot of talk, but...
It's like the movies: Hurry up and wait. It's moving forward, but not finalized yet :-(
But can you do something while we wait?
→ Sure! How about a contest with LOTS of Raging Heroes loot?
We'll set up in the next few days, just want to make sure we do it properly.
OK, then, what's going on with Brunhilde mounted on her war steed ?
→ Well, we finished that today, and pre-orders will open in the next 24-48 hours or so!
You were over 400 to reply to our survey (Which mounted Brunhilde would you buy?), with 47% saying Both, 29% saying With the banner, and 17% saying With the Shield. We'll get into more details about it in our next blog post.
Do you have anything other than static 3D renderings of Raging Heroes minis?
→ Yep!
we have created our own videos on several of our minis (a mixture of masters, casts, and some 3D renders too).
There are also others who have taken the initiative to create several video reviews of our miniatures.
And we've begun a playlist on videos we like, because after posting our Sergeant Krüger concept for the upcoming Toughest Girls of the Galaxy Kickstarter, we discovered a hilarious 22-second clip featuring another Sergent Krüger, so we thought we'd share that with you...
Well, as you know, to make this work, we need YOU!
A smart reader suggested that we provide banners to help spread the word on the Kurganova Shock Troops Kickstarter. So, DONE!
You can grab the banner below and link it to this Kickstarter page (https://www.ragingheroes.com/pages/kickstarter-news) we've set up (until the Kickstarter is actually live).
You can put it on your blog, or as your signature in forum posts, or anywhere else you can think of...
Or the French version:
We've mentioned it before, but may we also strongly suggest that you ask us (Asharah Raging) as a friend on Facebook, (for communication purposes, "Friending" Asharah is more effective than "Liking" the Raging Heroes page). At this point in time, Facebook is probably the best way to get real time info on what's going on with our Kickstarter and other projects.
Asharah Raging is already up 420+ Friends since we've started communicating on this!
You can also follow us on Twitter. We're not very effective Twitterers yet, (but working on it); and all our Facebook posts do get an automatic Twitter update.
PS/ Want to make sure you know when we get started? Just sign up for our newsletter.
Want to help out? Please leave a comment below - just remember to use your actual email address so we can contact you (don't worry, it won't be visible online).
To make this happen, PLEASE, PLEASE, SPREAD THE WORD!
Comments will be approved before showing up.
